Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard L2105tm 21.5" Widescreen LCD Touchscreen Monitor:
Nice monitor! Bright screen, good colors and good resolution. The touch screen feature works well. Easy to install and to set up. It comes with a long USB cord which needs to connect to the computer to enable the touch screen feature. I am using it with Windows 7 Pro, but it also comes with a driver for Windows XP Pro. I would not hesitate to buy another one.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard L2105tm 21.5" Widescreen LCD Touchscreen Monitor:
It can be hard to get the mouse cursor to "click" on the desired part on the screen, if you are using the monitor at a slight angle mounted on a monitor arm (like I do, because otherwise, if you use it in a typical vertical setup, your arm would get very tired). The reason for this is that the touch sensitive layer has some thickness to it, and it is imperative that you touch on the spot right above the desired pixel.
The accuracy is pretty good, but make sure to use a pointed object, like a somewhat dull colored pencil (if it's too sharp, the touch sensor sometimes fails to sense the touch properly, and doesn't move the cursor there). There are probably specially designed "pointers" for such displays that one can buy - I haven't looked yet.
Overall, it all works. But around the edges it can be tricky. I have not determined what causes it to fail around the edges (probably limitations of the technology that uses ultrasounds waves with emitters and sensors located at the sides of the screen), but sometimes, during work, it can be frustrating to not be able to put the cursor right in the corner of the screen. It can also make scroll bars hard to access if windows are fully maximized. Perhaps a solution would be to increase the size of the scroll bars in the Windows customization dialogs (desk.cpl).
The greatest joy comes from being able to draw some complicated computer art graphics right on screen! (Then again, that wasn't why I bought it, which was to draw control curves in an audio/midi sequencer application).

Use it with my win 7 x64 desktop.
The touch screen is sensitive. My only problem is with like small check boxes. My fingers are too big to be that accurate but other than that it's great.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard L2105tm 21.5" Widescreen LCD Touchscreen Monitor:
I recently purchased this to go along with a stage lighting console. The touch screen made for a great interface and it worked great! Set up with Win XP was super easy it worked fine. There were a few extra settings needed(which wasn't hard to figure out) when setting up multiple monitors, when one of them is a touch screen.
All and all, it looks & performs great, at an amazing price. The only thing that could be improved upon is the screen does not have an up/down slide adjustment. This could be helpful when aligning multiple monitors on a desktop.

We are using this monitor for our children's check in system at church. It seems to work great...very easy to use. I dont know why someone would spend more money for a touchscreen when this one works so well.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard L2105tm 21.5" Widescreen LCD Touchscreen Monitor:
The monitor is quite good in most respects. The touch functionality works as advertised, but the sensitivity/accuracy of the touch interaction is notably worse than one would find on touchpads, phones, etc.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard L2105tm 21.5" Widescreen LCD Touchscreen Monitor:
Those are the things that were most important for me. It was completely plug and play with Windows 7. I didn't get to play with it a whole lot as it was being setup as a Point of Sale screen used mostly for checking out customers. Pretty much just touch here, touch there, etc... without having to take your eyes off the screen to look for the mouse.
Speakers were pretty quite, but acceptable for its application. Sorta wish that the monitor could have functioned as an extra USB hub, but it's not a feature I would have spent another $10 on.

Used in a simulated healthcare enviroment for display of vital signs and medical records. This monitor is more accurate and responsive than its more expensive competitors. I have a several ELO monitors that I now use as my backups to these monitors.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard L2105tm 21.5" Widescreen LCD Touchscreen Monitor:
In the world of touch screen devices we live in, this monitor along with a similar model Dell offers are the two best choices for Home/Small Business/Non Retail Point of sale applications. Touch gestures are not as robust as your iXXXXX device or android, but for a monitor that works with YOUR current windows PC, this is a nice option. Very sensitive to finger touch, just doesn't offer many multi finger gestures. Your limited to two finger squeeze/pince/rotate and single finger touch and flicks. Think about it though, the majority of gestures you use fall into this catagory. Anyone doing advanced graphics or design layout is using a Macom tablet, and this will not replace that anytime soon. I'm using mine on a HTPC build in my media room to control music & media. Anyone in the house can browse with coverflow or xmbc with the flick of a finger. Very happy with HP's first go at wide format touch monitors. If your running a Win 7 machine and have the slightest desire for a touch screen, don't hesitate to try this one. The price is the best, especially from a reputable vendor [...]. You'll pay about 3/4 of this cost to get any decent monitor in this size. Small cost premium for touch option well worth it IMHO.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard L2105tm 21.5" Widescreen LCD Touchscreen Monitor:
The only design flaw is edges of the monitor that prevents people with normal sized fingers from grabbing scroll bars near the edge of the screen. other than that the screen is very accurate.
It is very responsive, easy to read and seems well built. I wish it tilted back further because I like to use it standing up but for normal applications it should be fine.

This monitor is a great value. We have 7 off brand touch screens and recently bought 4 HPs. They are better quality and cost less. We are very happy with them. The touch screen is very sensitive and the driver was easy to install.

[...] Regarding the monitor has beautiful screen quailty. Touch wocks perfect with Win7. With out the stand it is about 14 pounds as I use it in my lap. Perfect, just need a small cloth on ur lap to relieve the tad bit of weigh. Many touch programs for Win7 are showing up as well as Microsoft has a free touch pack to download. Don't use keyboard or mouse anymore. If anyone know how to get Swype keyboard for Android woking on win7 please email. I love that keyboard and if Win7 ever got it, I'd be set. Great monitor and touch responce, would highly recommend this monitor and B&H..

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard L2105tm 21.5" Widescreen LCD Touchscreen Monitor:
I bought the monitor intending to use it with a professional lighting control system from Flying Pig Systems. It works quite well for that purpose as the system is designed to work with touch screens. I would not hesitate to recommend this monitor for this purpose.
The accuracy of the point surface leaves a little to be desired (enough to keep it from a five-star rating) but it's not too bad.
Setup under Windows 7 Professional was easy - plug it in and done.
