The Mamiya DM40 Digital Camera System is a high-end versatile digital camera system. The DM40 features a 40 megapixel sensor, that when matched with great optics, results in exquisitely detailed image files. The large 44 x 33mm sensor, coupled with a 16 bit/channel color palette, provides exceptional color accuracy and rich 12-stop high dynamic range photographs in just a single capture. This versatile back has an ISO range of 80 to 800, and features a 6 x 7cm LCD touch screen.
Two user-selectable shutter systems - focal plane and leaf, with the included Sekor AF 80mm f/2.8 LS D lens with leaf-shutter - allow for high-speed flash synchronization. This allows high-speed flash synchronization to fill-in or overpower even the brightest ambient light. Sekor 55mm, and 110mm LS D lenses with leaf-shutters are also available.
Mamiya offers powerful software options for this imaging system. You have the flexibility of processing files using either of the included software solutions: Capture One by Phase One or Leaf Capture. You can also use Adobe Lightroom (not included) in order to process RAW files. The Mamiya DM40 is a very modular camera system for the ultimate in versatility. Using optional adapters, the digital back can be used with a view camera or the Mamiya RZ.

- Change ISO, manage folders and individual files, check histograms and review important shooting information on a big, bright 6 x 7cm touch screen display. The LCD is sharp, accurate and a great way to review your work. Using a stylus or just your finger, it's easy to change settings, organize files, or compare shots, using the intuitive, on-screen menu.
