Comments about Class on Demand Complete Training for Final Cut Pro 7:
I recently purchased Final Cut Studio. I have used other editing programs in the past, but I wanted to learn about the shortcuts and special commands of this program. This video does a great job. There are a lot of tips and tricks that make this DVD worth the price.
I also saw Tom Wolsky has a training DVD for Final Cut Studio. Because this DVD targets Final Cut Pro and not the other programs within the Final Cut Studio suite, I wrote Tom to see what he suggested. He felt this DVD was the best to start with.
Now I need to purchase Wolsky's other DVD--Basic Training for Final Cut Studio.

I looked online at all the videos out there to show you how to use FCP 7. I am a video colorist and have been in the business for over 30 years.I knew nothing about FCP 7 and never edited anything professionally. After buying a HPX 170 [...] I wanted to start doing some of my own things.I bought this DVD and within several hours of following along I was able to put together an awesome 2 min demo reel with music, transitions, graphics, and output it to you tube, dvd, file, etc. There are over 5 hours of information on this DVD.The manner in which it is presented to you is easy to understand and enjoyable because you see results of your training immediately. The video includes training projects and raw media for you to use in the training. I just used my own footage and followed along with the tutorial. The video is well laid out and set up so you can go to any chapter you need if you want to find out how to do a specific operation. Better than any HELP functions that come with FCP. The voice of the gentleman explaining things to you is calm and very clear. I ran the program while working in FCP and called it up anytime I was stuck. Excellent product. Well worth every penny in the time it will save you and the headaches you will not get.
