The Audio-Technica AT8314 Premium Microphone Cable features professional XLR-male to XLR-female Neutrik connectors and is designed specifically for low-impedance microphone signals. The cable is sure to deliver maximum signal transfer and minimum loss due to a combination of its heavy-duty construction, inner and outer protective RF shielding and heavy-duty 24-gauge stranded copper conductors.
Note! The Audio-Technica AT8314 Premium Microphone Cables are intended for low-impedance microphone use. Use only AT8314 series (or like wired) cables when extending multiple XLR cables to avoid phasing issues, signal cancellation and other artifacts.

It does what it is supposed to do. its built well. Looks like it will hold up well, low interference. 10' is perfect for a typical boom pole type length.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT8314 Premium Microphone Cable - 10' (3m):
This is the ideal length for connecting a wired lavalier microhpone to your camera for a basic one subject interview. Not too long or too short. The cable has a good thickness and finish, and coils nicely.

Cable is great - rolls easily, good quality, fits nicely.
I use the XLR for my wired lavs. The 10ft is much shorter in application than I thought. Not good for the wired mic. I probably should have gotten the 20ft. cable instead.

I use this for interviews with my panasonic hmc-150. What can I say? it's a mike cable and it works, [...] that's why I shop at B&H

I run this from my coiled Boom Pole to my mixer, and it's a perfect alternative to a coiled XLR, which runs about $50. Thanks!

Comments about Audio-Technica AT8314 Premium Microphone Cable - 10' (3m):
Nothing really useful to say other than Audio-Technica always seems to provide a solidly constructed product that works well. My cables don't get alot of heavy use, but they always seem to last and provide clear audio. Nice solid feel, but with flexible cables. Perfect.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT8314 Premium Microphone Cable - 10' (3m):
This cable is perfect for connecting a separate mic. Its use would be for a radio reporter recording on on handheld mic. I personally use wireless mics but will use this to connect the base to the unit. Good thinking on the part of Marantz for supplying this cable.
