I bought this as a cheap alternative to a wireless adapter for a shotgun mic (Azden SGM-1X) that I use as a boom mic with my Panasonic DVX100B. Let me say the quality it great and 100 feet if pretty far. The 100 feet provides for plenty of slack but is not cumbersome to the production. It can also withstand being taped to the floor with gaffer tape and being walked on. Well with it for the price. It does add a little extra weight to the camera bag but its 100 feet so that is expected.

I use this cable with a Marantz PMD670 and FR 303 shotgun microphone without fail. I also use gaffer tape to ensure the cable does not accidentally trip someone.
I've had zero problems with this cable, quality of sound does not seem to diminish with its length.

No problems with this cable, I've had much success with Audio-Technica cables in the past. The only problem when you get cables of this length is you must be able to OVER UNDER WRAP. If you cant, the knots become unmanageable, even if people know how to do regular over over wraps, moving them around from your equipment box to your car to set will result in a tangled mess.
