APC Smart-UPS 1500VA LCD 120V
The Smart-UPS 1500VA LCD 120V from APC provides power to your important computer components in the event of an electrical outage. The Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) contains a battery which continues to power computers, monitors and other components if the electricity is cut from them. An LCD status display provides information including remaining battery life, load capacity, and event notices. The battery is hot-swappable and easy to replace. An audible alarm alerts you of events like power outage and low battery.

I already had one of these and just bought three more. I use them as back-up for servers that I have running some critical processes. I plug both power supplies from a Dell 2950 server into one of these units.
Note that the two 750 watt power supplies in each server only draw about 250 watts continuously.
The display on the UPS says that it will provide about 50 minutes of run-time.
It shouldn't take anywhere near that amount of time for the generator to come online but it's always good to have a buffer.

I was concerned that the UPS would lack the power to wake my Mac Pro and Cinema Display from sleep during a power outage. It wakes the computer with plenty of power to spare. It also operates quieter than I had expected. The only downside it its large size and extreme weight. It seems well built and was easy to set up. Works will with my Mac OS X 10.5.8 operating system.

I use this with my Mac Pro with 2 graphics cards, a 24" monitor, an internal raid, plus an external 4 drive raid. With all that it only uses up 30% of the full load capacity, so if my power dies, this ups will give me about 30min of pure cine-wave power. Fantastic.
