JVC Model-55CAM RCU Receiver

The JVC Model-55 CAM RCU Receiver is part of the Model-55 system for extending the operating distance between a JVC professional video camera and a remote control unit (RCU). Used as an interface between the Model-55 BASE and one of up to four cameras, the Model-55 CAM attaches to the camera and allows control of all camera and lens functions at a range of up to 2000 feet (610m). Compatible with both remote fixed camera stations and pan-and-tilt systems, the Model-55 CAM module takes its power directly from the camera.

Note! When used in a system with a DPT 130 pan & tilt heads, the Model-55 CAM units are not required, as the interface cable can be plugged directly into the DPT-130.

Operates with any JVC camera with the RM-LP55U RCU interface
Uses a simple four-wire bi-directional RS-422 interface to extend the operating distance from 15 feet to up to 2000 feet between the RCU and the remote camera
Allows one to concurrently perform RCU functions on up to four (4) cameras at a time
Can operate remote fixed camera stations or cameras on JVC or ESI pan and tilt systems
