The Kata KT DR-466I-BB Digital Rucksack (Black) is designed to carry and protect a digital SLR camera with an attached lens, 3-4 additional lenses, flash, tripod, , laptop computer personal gear and accessories. The pack is made from reinforced Nycore grid with EVA + PE closed-cell foam interior, smooth Yelloop interior lining and TST Rib structured protection. It easily converts to a rucksack from a camera backpack by removing the padded bottom camera insert. There is a main compartment that holds a digital SLR camera in the top grip position; while the modular divider system will separate, organize and protect lenses, flashes and other accessories, and a large top compartment that will hold personal gear or additional equipment. A dedicated rear padded compartment will protect most laptop computers up to 14" or hold paperwork.
The Digital Rucksack has internal pockets, an MP3 player pouch, external zippered pockets that allow quick access to supplies and a water bottle/tripod support pocket that pulls out from a side pocket. Loop on both shoulder straps allows connection of external pouches to carry a cell phone or mp3 player. An included yellow rain cover; folds neatly away into an integrated pocket and can be hung out to dry on the small buckle next to the handle, or tucked away for storage in one of the pockets. The pack is carried by a molded handle or a backpack harness. EPH system compatibility allows attachment of an optional torso pack or waist pack.

Very versatile backpack to carry anything you need. Great pouch for your laptop (I have a 16"), but the only downside I've found is that I had a 70-200mm lens attached and it could not fit in the top pouch. The lens would only fit by itself and laying down horizontally. Not a great aspect if you're sporadically taking pictures because you have to detach it when you're done shooting. Plenty of space inside however, but I'm just worried about other lenses that are long.

This pack is great for computer/camera/random gear combination. I love the way the camera section folds under itself and everything is so compact. The zippers get cought sometimes but it's easy to fix.
Comments about Kata KT DR-466I-BB Digital Rucksack (Black):
I wanted a backpack that I can carry during the day. I wanted it to be able to carry a DSLR and either a laptop or a standard paper notebook (8.5 x 11) There are a few that can do this, but they are quite large. This is perfect. I used it with my D300 through Paris. Another advantage is that is has many pockets
