The Kata KT DR-467I-BG Digital Rucksack (Green) is designed to carry and protect 2 digital SLR cameras with an attached lens, 3-4 additional lenses (up to a 105mm f/2.8), flash, tripod, laptop computer, personal gear and accessories. The pack is made from reinforced Nycore grid with EVA + PE closed-cell foam interior, smooth Yelloop interior lining and TST Rib structured protection. It easily converts to a rucksack from a camera backpack by removing the padded bottom camera insert. There is a main compartment that holds a digital SLR camera in the top grip position; while the modular divider system will separate, organize and protect lenses, flashes and other accessories, and a large top compartment that will hold personal gear or additional equipment. A dedicated rear padded compartment will protect most laptop computers up to 15.4" or hold paperwork.
The Digital Rucksack has internal pockets, an MP3 player pouch, external zippered pockets that allow quick access to supplies and a water bottle/tripod support pocket that pulls out from a side pocket. Loop on both shoulder straps allows connection of external pouches to carry a cell phone or mp3 player. An included yellow rain cover; folds neatly away into an integrated pocket and can be hung out to dry on the small buckle next to the handle, or tucked away for storage in one of the pockets. The pack is carried by a molded handle or a backpack harness with waist belt. EPH system compatibility allows attachment of an optional torso pack or waist pack.

Very good price, zippers have held up well, holds canon 5d plus 3-4 lenses, gps and gadgets, macbook pro 15, and lots of personal stuff. have used it for multiple trips to africa, indonesia, central america ... not exactly quick camera access though.

I keep my Canon t2i rig in this pack, it's really fantastic with just how much gear can fit inside. I have several lenses, audio equipment, and other misc. items that all fit nicely. Despite all this gear, it's quite lightweight and easy to carry. It even has a waterproof cap in case it rains. All around great product.

With this bag I can now combine my video and SLR cameras and accessories. The backpack allows for hands free camera usage. Lots of space and misc pockets for storage. The bag seems to be well padded for safety of equipment.

I travel a lot, and I'm slowly getting more gear for my camera. It was so difficult to travel and carry my purse, camera bag, camera books, other books, ipod, etc. With the rucksack, I can fit it all into one place, and still have room to grow. I don't have a laptop yet, so that's even more storage for other items right now, but once I get one, I can take that along, also, without having to carry several bags. I can't wait to start my travels for the year!

It fits my new 60d with 18-135 attached, along with my old 350D, with a 100mm f/2.0, and other 2 lenses, and flash!
But the lower part, where the sections are, is a little clumsy to deal when completely full.

This backpack has a lot of nice features. You can really tell the manufacture put a lot of thought into the design. Unlike some things on the market there are a lot of little details that did not get overlooked. It can fit my Rebel XSi w/ battery grip and 55-250mm lens attached, along with my 430ex II speedlite, 18-55mm, and 50mm f1.4. There is still room for at least one more lens. All my accessories fit in the side pockets and I have the entire top compartment open for extra gear or things for a day trip.
The 17" laptop compartment makes the 467i feel a little bulky in my opinion. I wish I could have gotten the slimmed down 466i, but the dimensions of my 14" laptop were just out of range due to an extended battery. Oh well, it's still a great backpack and I give Kata extra points for offering three different versions of the backpack.

Just got the bag a few weeks ago, but it appears to be well made. The green on the bag was a little more neon than I thought it would be (looked more hunter green in the pics), but otherwise I am very pleased with the bag. It holds a decetn amount of equipment ( I have a Canon T2i body and 2 lenses, and I have plenty of room for another 2 or 3 lenses. I would definitley recommend this bag.
