The LE1711 17" LCD Monitor from HP is an economical, environment-friendly flat panel monitor with 1280 x 1024 native resolution. The monitor features 30° of tilt and 160° viewing angles. The quick 5ms response time provides clear images when viewing multimedia. The green design ensures compliance with a variety of eco-standards, including ENERGY STAR. With support for a number of peripherals, the LE1711 is a flexible, affordable monitor designed to increase comfort and productivity.
- With a low power consumption panel, the HP Compaq LE1911 meets stringent worldwide environmental standards, including ENERGY STAR 5.0 specifications and TCO 5.0 Certification. It features up to a 37% reduction in power consumption, contains 50% less mercury than previous generation models, arsenic-free display glass, and BFR/PVC free panel, cabinet and sheet metal. The HP Power Savings tool enables additional energy savings.

Then I wanted a 19 inch one to help with my eyes.
Well, HP knows how to build them. Don't hesitate. This monitor is splendid in every way.
I tried other brands. They were ok. But the HP monitors are BETTER!

Used primarily as my backup monitor, I have the
earlier version of the 19" and it's nice. It's
hard to find the square monitors, everything is
widescreen, and my main purpose of use is for editing Photography. The only draw back was I
had to remove the swivel mount from the monitor,
it was so tight that I thought it might snap off
at the mounts, but I was finally able to break it
loose to swivel, then I screwed it back onto the
monitor after I set the correct verticle postion.
