The Pearstone case holds six filters up to 77mm in size which is a great size for carrying in the field with selected filters. The case is 1" thick with filters in place.
The pockets are mesh and so provide little or no protection against dust and other contaminants. The only way it would make sense to use the mesh pockets would be to keep the filters in their original plastic cases and put the cases into the mesh pockets.
There is a reason why Nikon sells filter cases with plastic pockets and not mesh pockets for use with their filters.

Comments about Pearstone Six Filter Pouch:
I had a rather fat pouch where the filters are stacked - i like this ones flat design instead - easy to access and easy to pack.

Comments about Pearstone Six Filter Pouch:
I don't use the product. It does not appear secure enough to keep the filters dust free and scratch free.

Comments about Pearstone Six Filter Pouch:
I have several filters that I kept in their original cases when I wasn't using them. They were bulky and took up valuable space in my camera bag. Now with the six filter pouch, I have all them in one hand location and have more storage space for extra batteries and cords.

Comments about Pearstone Six Filter Pouch:
needed something to carry around my filters. hate those hard plastic boxes. i am a little disappointed that there is not better padding for the case.
Comments about Pearstone Six Filter Pouch:
This pouch fits my needs perfectly. I needed a small case for packing in the camera bag that was still big enough to carry the needed filters...this was it!
Comments about Pearstone Six Filter Pouch:
holds well, nicely padded, ez to get in but does not let your filters fall!
Comments about Pearstone Six Filter Pouch:
very nice case, holds snug with out having to dig your fingers in to get the filters. good padding, ez to open.

Comments about Pearstone Six Filter Pouch:
My reason for having a filter case or wallet is to provide easier access than having them in individual plastic filter cases but still providing protection from dust and scratches.
This case may protect against scratches but the open mesh pocket definitely do not protect against dust.

Comments about Pearstone Six Filter Pouch:
This filter pouch is one of the cheapest and most convenient i've ever come across. Although it doesn't hold the plastic housing for the filters, it provides enough protection to leave them loose.
