Comments about Celestron NexStar 127SLT Computerized Telescope:
Currently look at bright stars & visible planets.
Saw Saturn at 500x(6mm plossi,2x barlow), ran into atmospheric blur/wobble. At such a high mag still bright enough, just got a bit cloudy. The tripod does its job, especially if you don't touch it at higher mags. Yeah, the starfinder beam is too bright for stars like Castor. Even with the light off the 'lens' doesn't do too well in the burbs of Saint Louis. Not sure why the backlashes aren't shipped adjusted.

Comments about Celestron NexStar 127SLT Computerized Telescope:
Use it for casual observing. GOTO feature is nice, right on the spot. Image quality lacks and images are very small. I guess that's what one gets when one goes cheap.
