The 70AZ sets up easily without tools. The sturdy tripod and equatorial mount provide a stable viewing platform with smooth controls for excellent tracking. The optical system is fully coated for maximum light transmission, and the erect-image diagonal offers excellent terrestrial and astronomical viewing opportunities.
In addition to the telescope, tripod, mount, and the erect image diagonal - the 70AZ comes with two eyepieces and a 3.0x Barlow lens for maximum viewing versatility. To help viewers locate and identify thousands of celestial objects the 70AZ comes packaged with "The SkyX" planetarium software CD ROM.
