Comments about Celestron Tripod Adapter:
I used this adapter with my Cabelas 20x80 Astronomical binoculars which are very heavy. I found it vibrated in the wind too much. The vertical post is just too thin.

Comments about Celestron Tripod Adapter:
Purchased this adapter for my 8X42mm Binoculars to be used at the shooting range for 100 yards distance. When using the adapter on a tripod it gives you ~ TWO FREE HANDS, Nice ~ ! ! !

Comments about Celestron Tripod Adapter:
If you need a slim tripod adapter to squeeze between narrowly spaced objectives, this may fit. An attractive design, it is also hampered by its thinness. Too easily swayed from side to side with a heavier load - there is no reinforcement to prevent that - other tripod adapters do reinforce against that, but it will make them thicker. Larger binoculars need not apply.
