This is a good conversion lens the quality is very nice... it does what it says. I liked very much the interchange system, you place an adapter to your lens and then you can easily place and remove the conversion lens without the need to screw it.
The problem is that the change is not that big to the image, and for the price it´s a bit expensive - but hey, it´s original gear, so there´s nothing to do here...
A great addition to my camera gear, that will certainly pay its price when I actually need it indoor (specially) for a shot.

But don't zoom in, it became blurred.

Bought for my Panasonic TM700. Works great up to 4x zoom. Will not focus beyond that limit. Very light, well made. I really like that the lens element is held in a ring that can be released from the part that screws into the front of the TM700's 46mm accessory threads. This means you can get the 0.8x demag when you need it and then access the full 12x zoom capability in a bit under a second. Nicely priced.

Nowhere in any online documentation does it say that this converter lens does not work above approximately 4x zoom. Only in the in-box documentation does it tell that your cam may not focus on "tele." On a 12X Panasonic TM700, this is a fatal limitation. On the plus side, if you only intend to use it almost completely zoomed out wide, then it's quite acceptable. As for me, I'll be returning this and purchasing the significantly more expensive (and capable) Panasonic VW-W4607. You do get what you pay for.
