The HonlPhoto 8" Speed Snoot/Reflector (Gold-Silver) is part of the Honl Speed System, which allows you to add a line of different light modifiers to your flash unit. This 8" Gold-Silver Reflector/Snoot gives a pleasing warm skin tone to portraits, similar to a warm sun-glow and comparable to using a 1/4 CTO filter. Use the HonlPhoto Speed Strap (not included) to quickly attach and remove the Speed Snoot to your flash.
It also converts to a snoot to concentrate the light from your shoe-mount flash for dramatic cinematic lighting. It is perfect for everything from dramatic portraits to concentrating light on background elements. Speed Snoots are made of tough ballistic nylon and are adjustable to fit a wide variety of flashes, including Canon's 430 to 580 Speedlites and Nikon's SB24 to SB900 Speedlights, as well as the Vivitar 285.

This is vey well made and does a great job as both a reflective bounce (adds a nice warmth to the light) and as a snoot. The fact that is rolls up and is portable gives is enough for me to get that over the standard hard plastic snoot. Like Honl's other products, this is very well made, but does require the purchase of a Speedstrap to attach it to the flash. I already have a bunch of his other products so I have Speedstraps, but if this is your first Honl, don't forget to add one of those to the cart as well (except for the Traveler8 softbox which comes with a strap).

I bought this snoot to help throw enough soft light during night football games. I have used it during last Friday nights CIF game and got some very nice results. I did not get one picture with red-eye and I took about four hundred pictures. I am vey happy with the results, this product really works well.
