This Equinox Monitor with RCA Female Plug has a large 2.5" color active matrix LCD display that makes framing easy even in bright sunlight. This monitor is for camcorders with RCA female plug connectors. It is powered by an internal battery. The battery gives you 4 to 6 hours of view time, and only takes 45 minutes to recharge. The monitor is not waterproof. You need to place the monitor inside the housing.

Its a nice small monitor and is cheaper than the one installed on the back plate by about $100. I just added some double sided adhesive and its pretty much the same. But I still think it's a little pricey.
