Ok.. I've only had a few weeks but so far quality of print is excellent... probably better than my older LaserJet 6L which has been dutifully producing VG quality print for 13 years. Time will tell with P1102W but I don't expect issues especially since it is a horizontal tray feed rather than vertical feed like the 6L.I bought this for "HP" quality and wireless printing. (6L networked but requires Parallel-USB--LAN adaptor and is hard wired to router).P1102W sets up easily with firmware install. Plug into USB port (temporary), go through steps and done. Other computers connect as easily but without need for USB port. Open browser, give it printer IP address (provided in test page print) and select set up... done again. Truly the easiest networked printer set up I've been through.Others have mentioned wireless set up problems. I would suggest; turn off firewall / anti-virus sw temporarily, disable pop up blocking temporarily, turn off any MAC filtering in router, select proper security type (printer will know correct type so don't change), and don't attempt manual install beforehand. You won't be disappointed... especially at this price. Stays connected, sleeps when not in use, wakes up nicely to print, HP print quality.. what else could you ask for?

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard P1102W LaserJet Pro Printer (Wireless, Monochrome):
I bought this product because I needed a laser printer to print out my childrens lessons. The added bonus is its wireless capacity. We have a wireless laptop and a regular computer and I am able to print from both computers. Our main computer area is located in our kitchen, I can be in the our office or living room and print from my laptop without any problem. Which is about 50ft away and walls in between. I am used to an ink jet printer, so I was very impressed with the print time, it's almost instant from the time you hit the print button on your computer. Set up was a breeze, I was able to hook it up to both computers without any problems. The only complaint that I have is that sometimes print quality is not very crisp. Lines and letters are sometimes hazy. I do use high quality paper. For what we are using it for, it's not a big deal. I've been very pleased with this printer.

Use this for my son's homework and my occasional printout of a few pages.
We quickly set it up as a simple network printer.
So far the only concern is that the wireless connection seems to drop out without explanation and that the printer needs to be told to hunt for a wireless connection. This is particularly surprising given the proximity of the printer to the signal source

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard P1102W LaserJet Pro Printer (Wireless, Monochrome):
I needed an inexpensive, quiet, quick printer with a small footprint for an apartment office. With so many choices out there and so many all-in-one's, I was frustrated and confused. Then I saw this little printer. It met all of my requirments. I decided that what I really needed was a simple printer to replace an old inkjet. I've only had this printer for a couple of weeks. But, there have been no jams or issues. The small footprint suits my space limitations very well and I can set it to shut off after a certain number of idle minutes. Set up seemed pretty simple and quick. My techie friend set it up for me. The copies are clear and its prints fast and it is very quiet. I have no negatives yet and really don't anticipate any. It might have been good to have some multi-functions but I can live without that for now.
I gave it four stars because I haven't tried all of the functions like printing envelopes, labels, or large documents, etc.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard P1102W LaserJet Pro Printer (Wireless, Monochrome):
Was so easy to install via usb cable -did not even need supplied disk. I like the wireless connect feature and plan to use it later. Prints are dark and clean and are printed almost instantly. Good size for a small office space. Also, a good price for its features and performance. Of course, as in all new printers sold today, the printer cartridge that is included is good for only a few prints. But knowing that, I bought a full-size cartridge about the same time I ordered the printer.

Compact and fast. Fits right on the corner of my desk. I need it just to print one page at a time and it has worked flawlessly. Will also try to use it with the wireless function/feature. So far, I have not found anything wrong with it, but I am sure that the starter toner cartridge will not last long. For that I will complain in advance.

I really like this printer. It prints fast and the quality is spot on. The only negative is that the connectivity between my Macbook Po and it will work sometimes and not the other. Other than that, great printer.

The Laser-jet Pro is a smart buy. It was super easy to setup and the wireless printing is amazing. It's hard to believe we ever used anything else. The Laser-jet is as quick as it is quiet and the cost to print is way better than any ink-jet model.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard P1102W LaserJet Pro Printer (Wireless, Monochrome):
I bought this printer to replace our ancient LaserWriter 5MP. When we took it out of the box it almost looked like a toy, so compact and lightweight!
Well, after plugging it in and configuring it (which took all of 5 minutes), we could not believe how well it works: printing a fairly complex PDF document starts ~1 second after launching the print job, and completes almost as fast. Also, the auto on/off feature is extremely convenient, and the Wi-Fi connectivity is just fantastic.
A great product that I highly recommend.
