This Visual Echoes Fresnel Lens is a replacement part for all Visual Echoes Better Beamer Flash Extenders. The fresnel lens panel gets positioned in front of the flash. It focuses and concentrates the light to a narrow beam.

I USE THE FRESNEL LENS WITH MY BETTER BEAMER FOR OUTDOOR AVIAN PHOTOGRAPHY. IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY, AND EXTENDS THE FLASH WHEN I'M USING A LONGER LENS (300MM OR LONGER). THIS HELPS MY PHOTOGRAPHY BY ILLUMINATING THE UNDERSIDES OF THE WINGS OF THE BIRDS. THE LENS HAS SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVED MY BIRD IN FLIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY SHOTS. THE WHITES ARE MUCH WHITER AGAINST THE SKY AND THE SHADOWS HAVE VIRTUALLY DISAPPEARED! IT STORES EASILY AND WITHOUT ADDED WEIGHT. YOU SIMPLY HAVE TO REMEMBER TO NEVER POSITION THE LENS SO THAT THE SUN IS SHINING DIRECTLY THROUGH THE LENS BACK INTO THE FLASH IN ORDER TO PROTECT YOUR FLASH UNIT. I JUST RECEIVED MY SECOND LENS AND WILL NOT BE WITHOUT ONE FROM NOW ON!
