This item is great. I also upgraded it after the fact to the GEO Tagging and it works great. Do this, it actually works and worth the [$] upgrade.PRO: Effortless set up and use. Uploads photos to my PC and to my Picasa account as soon as I come within my wifi network with no issues. CON: If you have a large amount of pictures it could take a while to upload. Still faster to just pull the SD Card and put into the PC. To me this is a minor issue. 200 pics still upload faster then I would have taken to get set up to upload the pics. Only other con is that it slightly drains the battary faster. It is noticiable but it doesn't kill my battary on my D90. Plus you can turn it off in my D90 menu.Great Product. Highly recommend it to the prosumer like myself.

I use my connect x2 card to wirelessly download photos from my card to my laptop when I am doing sitesales.
The only problem I have here is that the instructions don't include how to connect to a computer without a router. I have a router that I use to connect other hardware when I travel... however the router is not a modem. There were no instructions available for connecting the csrd to the network without internet connection.
Other than the problem, stated above, my card works as advertised when I am on my home network... it doesn't give me any advantage at home.

support only available when i am at work, thus ZERO SUPPORT.instructions ? the provided instructions do not reflect what actually happens when you try to install the software. yes i am one of those geeks who actually read the instructions. app for andriod does not work at all on a new toshiba tablet. do not waste your money and especially your TIME. maybe it will improve with a newer version

Comments about Eye-Fi 4GB Connect X2 SDHC Memory Card:
Card purchased for transferring media from my Canon T2i DSLR to my iMac 5.1. Easy setup and pretty straight forward instructions. Reliable mechanism for transferring media, but not real fast in posting to web eye-fi center. Wireless networks can only be added through Eye-Fi Center application. Excellent and expeditious support!

Comments about Eye-Fi 4GB Connect X2 SDHC Memory Card:
The eye-fi card works as advertised. The upload speeds are reasonable, and works great on my Canon S95. There's even a menu option to allow the camera to stay on while the uploads complete. This might drain your battery quicker than normal. But hey, electricity is relatively cheap. Just buy a few spare batteries. 3rd party ones are relatively cheap for this purpose.
Using the eye-fi in tandem with the ipod touch. So far that works fine. The app is a little buggy, but it works. The app could be streamlined a bit though.
Overall I'd give it a 4 stars, as it's not a completely seamless user experience.
Still, I highly recommend.

Comments about Eye-Fi 4GB Connect X2 SDHC Memory Card:
I have the X2 associated with my iPod Touch. This lets me use a Canon S95 to make better images than the iPod's camera, transfer them to the iPod, and then post them to the web via email from any WiFi hotspot. This means I don't have to copy the images from the SD card to my home computer and _then_ upload; I can upload from the field.
Bonus: the S95 has a menu option to enable/disable the Eye-Fi's radio, saving precious battery life on the S95. Other makes and models might have similar support.
I give it 4 rather than 5 stars because it took me a smal bit of time to understand the connectivity model.

Comments about Eye-Fi 4GB Connect X2 SDHC Memory Card:
the install directions are very brief, and incomplete. If you do have a problem with the install like I did you are pretty much on your own. I have been emailing back and forth with EYE-Fi's tech support for a couple weeks now, and still don't have a working card. I have not been impressed with this product.
Also, you don't really realize until you are trying to set this up that you have to pay a yearly subscription cost if you want it to be able to upload from wifi hotspots other then your home wifi router, and then there is another additional subscription cost if you want it to embed GPS data.

I use it daily.
The setup is incredibly frustrating. Some of the menu options in the instructions did not correspond with the installed software. I still can't get it to work in direct mode. I'm not sure I would buy this product again.

well the concept itself is good. But you have to pay extra $ for raw file, which is frustrating

I use this as a tool to quickly upload pics to the computer for my wife to post to on-line classified websites, like [...]. Whatever I find that we can sell, I take a picture, and then when it gets to the desktop computer, she writes the ad, attaches the pictures, and posts it. It's a good system we got. I stay out in the garage or shed snapping away, while she sits inside the house doing the hard stuff. The speed of transfers differ, but I set my Nikon D90 to the smallest resolution for a faster transfer.

I used the card with my Canon 3100, and it works great!.
the very first step, and I think the must important, is the configuration with the local network, after this, the permission to the computers, ipods or ipads so they can work with it. as I want to sync with an Ipad, I downloaded de App and it works smoothly.
when I shoot the camera, automatically, refresh the ipad, and flickr!

I have spent several hours trying to get it work on a Samsung NX10 and communicate with iMac and iPad2. I never managed to work with either of them. I have no clue why it does not work. I have spent enough of time on it and I intend to sell it.

We use the product in a hospital environment. We have been using the product for three weeks and like it a lot. It transfers pictures directly to a specific computer and folder (20+ computers on our network). Just take a picture and it transfers to the specified computer. My only issue, it was difficult to setup. Per the instructions... plug it in and load the software, well it's not that simple. After several re-boots and failed attempts to load current software (updates) it started to load updates and its now working fine. They need better instructions. I would give the product 5 starts except for the terrible time I had getting it to work.

Easy way to transfer photos.. If you have the set up details (wirless info / passwords) it is easy to set up... drawback it appears to drain the battery on the camera a little bit more.
A pleasure to transfer your photos 1-2-3. A must have if you take a lot of photos

Easy setup, nice interface, works perfectly, sometimes takes a while to upload large pictures but not any longer than downloading a picture from email etc. The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because we'd like eye-fi to make a CF version.

I'm a pro photographer, and thought this could be very cool. Auto-download as you shoot! Sounds great, right? Not so much. Annoying set up, insanely slow transfer speeds, unreliable performance, so-so tech support, ugh.
Even just using it with my point and shoot, just for fun, it wasn't. Eye-fi really needs to up their game for this to be viable.
