The Manfrotto 546B Pro Video Tripod is an aluminum two-stage tripod that combines stability and strength with affordability. Reaching a maximum height of 60.6" (154cm), the 546B is capable of supporting up to 44 lbs (20kg). Its spiked feet come with rubber overshoes, allowing setups on both smooth floors and uneven surfaces, while a newly designed mid-level telescopic spreader keeps the legs exactly where you need them.

I shoot video mostly with a 504HD head and I use these legs. The mid level spreader snapped on the first day. I bought a ground level spreader after that. I've had to tighten the fasteners as they began to slip. My rig is not very heavy ( a 5d Mk2 with a juciedlink attached and a Canon 28-300mm lens mostly). This tripod looks the part but I am disappointed with the overall construction. I'm switching to the 536 4-section carbon fibre. I love Manfrotto products as I own a few of their tripods but this one I would not recommend. To make matters worse the 504HD head is not that great either. The leveller fell out and the covers fell off. By the way my tripod is only six months old and i look after my gear.

I use these legs as support for any and every camera I've touched. They truly are a sweet set of legs. Very sturdy, very strong and very industrial. No loose parts here. Great feet and locking rings. Pretty tall set of legs too. Slap a head on these beauties and you got your dream girl. Toss the 504 Fluid Head and you can go ahead and curl up to coziness. Easy and sweet. Maybe a little thick to travel with though...

I'm a pro photographer/videographer. I wanted a tripod that would hold both by DSLR and JVC cams and give me fluid motion. This one does that. It is rock solid. Not hard to level. I shot in a slipper, muddy construction site last week without problem.
It is heavy though and hard to manage without a proper case. Forget throwing it over a shoulder.

Not a Vinten but still nice. I wish it had a bit more heft so as to hold still when smaller cameras are on it - hence 4 starts.
