Comments about Manfrotto 504HD Head w/536 3-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod System:
The 504HD head replaces my 501 head. The 501 is an excellent head but the 504 is even smoother for pan and tilt. I like the lighted level although it is a little small. The head gives you several methods of stabilizing the camera to prevent drop. The 536 tripod is extremely strong and sturdy. It provides a quick method for leveling the head, and set-up is a breeze.I can stradle seats in a theatre with no problem and I attain heights of about 7 feet when needed without shake. All in all a winner for any video camera, especially the larger, heavier professional models.

Comments about Manfrotto 504HD Head w/536 3-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod System:
Had no idea how tall it would be until I got it in. Love that I can spread out the legs for it to handle the weight of a 1 meter Glidetrack with no issues at all.

Comments about Manfrotto 504HD Head w/536 3-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod System:
Great quality sticks and head. I was surprised how much better the quality of the 504 head compared to the 501. The light up leveling bubble was a nice little surprise when shooting in darker rooms.

Comments about Manfrotto 504HD Head w/536 3-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod System:
Used for interview and event work. Very flexible ... adjustable from very low to the ground to very high. The head offers very nice smooth movement, and is highly adjustable for the camera you may be using. The only real downside to this tripod is it's weight ... quite heavy to carry around.

Comments about Manfrotto 504HD Head w/536 3-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod System:
This tripod is perfect and versatile. It will do everything you need it to do. It has a smooth head for both pans and tilts. Very sturdy, fast and accurate leveling. Overal a great combination from Manfrotto. It is a lot bigger than I imagined it would be though.

Comments about Manfrotto 504HD Head w/536 3-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod System:
Solid set of carbon sticks. Sticks can take a 100mm ball head as well. Huge range of operation (min and max height). Well engineered. smooooooth. Perfect for DSLRs. Portable, just toss it in the bag and over your shoulder.
Cons:
Release button can be tricky to press with a rig attached.
The tilt lock is a little weak. Certainly not a deal breaker, though.
