Comments about American Audio Radius 3000 CD Media Player & Controller:
Im an electronic music (electrohouse, dubstep, trance, and hip hop/ rap) DJ who started off of on software with the vms4. I got too overwhelmed by the mapping functions of the software I wanted to use. Cdjs and a central digital mixer is better in my eyes than software. I dj house parties and mix with friends. I make some of my own music but im still relatively new to cdjs. I do however plan to start playing shows soon when I get as comfortable on cdjs as I was on software. The radius 3000 is an incredible machine for the price with basically all of the functionality of a cdj 1000 or 2000 (which many of my friends have). The only thing that can be annoying based on preference obviously, would be the cue and play button. Other than this, the looping, effects, jog wheel weight, brightness and user options are amazing. I do recommend this product to amateur, intermediate and a couple of my friends (performing djs) love my 3000s even though they are die hard pioneer users.
