The Lorex 4-Port PCI DVR Recorder System turns your existing computer in your home or business into a full-featured security control center. With this system in place you'll be able to view all 4 cameras on the same screen as well as record them simultaneously to the PC's hard drive.
By connecting to a network, you'll be able to access live camera feeds over the Internet. You can also set the system to send you an email alert along with image of the affected scene whenever motion is detected in the picture. This way you can stay informed of what's happening in your home or business anytime and from anywhere. Thanks to DDNS support, connecting from a remote location is a quick and easy process.
This system uses the efficient H.264 compression method to maintain quality video images while keeping file sizes to a minimum. This will save hard drive space while also reducing the load on the network. If the computer's internal hard drive is about to fill up you can export files to an external hard drive connected to your computer's USB port.
The 4 cameras are both weather resistant and IR enabled. This way you can install them in an indoor or outdoor location as well as in areas that are often times dark like entrances, back yards, hallways, garages, or pool areas. With each camera you get a 60' connecting cable, enough to cover most home and office wiring needs.
