The American DJ MB-8 Instant Mirror Ball Package delivers the glitter: an 8" mirror ball (including shaft for mounting to the base), an M-DCBASE battery-operated base for the mirror ball (the M-DCBASE features optional AC/DC (D cell battery and M-DCB/PSU DC power supply not included), a PL-1000 pinspot with lamp, and 4 color gels (green, yellow, red and blue). Light it up and you're ready to party.

I bought this for my 10 year old for his birthday. He had wanted one that was $150, but I had different ideas of how much a disco ball should cost. I am so glad that I bought this one. He absolutely loves it and we are both happy. This works best sitting on a table or desk for us, because otherwise the on/off switch would be too difficult to reach for him. It works perfectly, no problems there.
