I was interested in looking into a new monitor for my computer, that gave me more real estate than my old 1080x1024 monitor. But I wasn't interested in paying out the big bucks I keep seeing for monitors. As soon as I saw this monitor, I searched the internet, and B&H had the lowest price on it! It worked perfectly for what I needed. The full 1920x1080 resolution has really given me a ton of more space to work! The very small depth of the monitor itself has allowed me to place it in great positions and even mount it onto my wall very easily. I used to think the colors and contrast depth on my old monitor was good, but next to this new one, my old one looks horrible. The whites and black are incredible, especially with the new LED technology. The new LED Technology also keeps the monitor extremely cool! Overall it was a very great choice to buy this, and the price was unbeatable! It didn't even dent my savings account. Maybe I'll buy another!

I bought this monitor to go with my mac pro because I couldn't afford the Apple display. It's amazing, so clean, the screen is really bright and colorful. I also like the touch sensitive buttons in the lower right corner of the screen. The overall construction does not have that cheap feel that you often get with displays in this price point.
It works really great with a mac, but there's just one thing I don't like. You can't control the brightness of the screen with the buttons on the apple keyboard, you have to use the ones on the screen and go in the menu. It can be annoying, but I found myself to not really change the brightness of the screen at all. Also, the viewing angle is good, but the screen tends to turn yellow if you're way too much on the side. This isn't a issue for me, but I'm just pointing that out. The last con is the audio. I highly recommend having an external set of speakers because the built in ones just won't do the job. However, this is expected in such a cheap display.
Because the screen is adjustable in color/brightness/contrast, it was easy for me to fix the slight green tint. I used a macbook pro with the same grey wallpaper in the two screens and tried to match the colors as best as I could.
Overall this is just an awesome piece of equipement for anyone who is on a budget, or just someone who want a great deal. And if I ever buy a second monitor, I'll just buy this one again because of the great value.

I'm very happy with the quality of the monitor. This is my first LED monitor, so the difference to my old one is quite astonishing. The monitor is not fancy and I wish it the cables were a bit more hidden in the back. Otherwise a great monitor , especially given its reasonable price.

I use this as a second monitor, next to my 27" iMac, I love screen estate. Lightweight but fairly stiff base, not too much wobbling. It's got a great clean look, love the little dip under the power buttom, but what I don't care for, is the oversized LED 1080p Full HD printed on the bottom left corner. Now why does that now dadted info need to be there and why so BIG?? It's a bit silly.

This is the best LED back lit display out there. It beats all other manufacturers and even ViewSonic's other products. Not much audio, but hey, I am using my hi-fi earphone anyways. B&H made it soooo cheap. This product alone will stall the sale of all other LCD displays!!!I normally use the full strength (factory default) brightness and 70% contrast for movie viewing; and 25% brightness and 30%-40% contrast for computer viewing, 'casue the LED is too bright if I chech e-mail or type something in Microsoft Word for hours.Overall, this is THE LED display I have been looking for in the past 10 years. Finally it's here and it's far less than other guy's [$] price tag.

I have been using the monitor for over a month now. Very good color, sharp image and nice and bright. This is my 2nd Viewsonic monitor. The 1st I bought in 2002 for over $400. I still use it to extend my desktop as a 2nd monitor. Its not as bright as the new LED monitor. Viewsonic monitors always rate high by Comsumer Report. There were great in 2002 and still are today.

I have a pair of these monitors side-by-side (one in landscape orientation, one in portrait) and use them for software development. They seem nice and clear, are wonderfully light (<7 lbs w/o stand), and consume very little power. My only complaint is that the colors seem to have a bluish tint and I haven't managed to make that go away by tweaking the settings.
