Comments about Iomega eGo Helium Portable Hard Drive (500GB):
Have had bad luck with iOmega drives lately.
This one made grinding noise when I started using it for the first time...waiting for a replacement, which I hope is better.

Comments about Iomega eGo Helium Portable Hard Drive (500GB):
I use this product to back up all of my stuff from my Macbook Pro. I like the size and design along with not having to format it to my Mac. The initial transmission was a bit too slow but I understand that it was alot of data. Firewire would have been better but the price was good.
