Comments about NexAira NexConnect 3G Broadband Router:

I was pleased this WiFi router was easy to set up using a Mac. It worked fine with my friend's Verizon Pantech 3G modem. But it would not work with my T-Mobile Rocket 2. The [...] rocket draws too much power. So it goes back, but I will be buying the Nexaira SOHO router that is compatible with the rocket. It required a restart daily when the connection was dropped so install it someplace easy to access.

This router was just what we needed to set up a wireless network in our home with our 3G modem. Getting the router up and running took an average amount of time (less than an hour) and was relatively easy. So far, the router's performance has been exceptional. I am happy with the purchase.

Comments about NexAira NexConnect 3G Broadband Router:

I searched for 3G routers that are compatible with my Franklin CDU-680 USB air card and I expected to pay much more for a wireless router which is compatible with our specific 3G air card.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that NexAira routers are carried by B&H Photo. I have used B&H Photo as my photo and camera supplier of choice for many years and I have always been pleased with their service.

Also of great relief is that this wireless router works seamlessly with my iMac, Powerbook, iPod Touch, Macbook, Time Capsule and our wifi-enabled Brother printer. In addition, it also provides Wifi to our PS3 console.

Once the router has been programmed (which is done only once during the initial programming), it will automatically dial into your service provider when you plug in the USB 3G modem.

We've tested the wireless signal up to about 150' away and it works well. The device is small, makes no noise and works as advertised.

Be aware, though that there is only one LAN and one WAN physical ports on the router.

I'm very pleased with its performance.
