The bubble level is ideal for QTVR (Quick Time Virtual Reality) shooting sessions, panoramas, landscapes, or anytime a straight horizon is crucial.

I had some reservations that the level be accurate or fit well, but it seated securely in my Canon's accessory shoe, and allowed me to quickly orient the camera with a 17mm T&S lens. it really beat eye-balling it. The only possible improvement I see is if the level had some reference markings for even better hair-splitting accuracy. With that said, I still feel it is a well-made excellent aid, especially with wide angle lenses, and a real time saver.

Wouldn't recommend this if you want to accurately level your camera.

Standard 2 axis hot shoe bubble level that came from with the LensCoat skin. Nothing unique. Works fine.

Comments about LensCoat 2 Axis Hot Shoe Bubble Level:
Purchased as an "add on" for Tracker 4 tripod. Doesn't seem to fit hot shoe as well as it should. Doesn't "snap in" like a flash or Nikon hot shoe "cover" piece does. But, it is functional and doesn't fall out. It does block the pop-up flash on my D90. Not a major deal as most of the use for this level I'm not using/requiring it. Price seems a little steep for what it is, but not to steep enough to deter me from buying it. Overall, pretty happy.

This is the best purchase I've made in quite awhile! I can't figure why I didn't purchase it years ago, considering I've never done well at getting horizons straight in-camera. I use it with my Canon 5dMarkII and Linhof 612 and it allows me to finally get straight horizons in-camera very easily. A must have item for any photog working on a tripod.

Got this since I was already getting some stuff from the site via UPS. Glad I did, very nice and easy to use, takes up very little space and very handy.

Great item, works great with my tripod. Small = easy to lose, so get a case organizer to keep things all together and avoid losing things like i do!

Comments about LensCoat 2 Axis Hot Shoe Bubble Level:
I'd like to echo others' comments on how tight the bubble level can be in the hotshoe. It can require some force to remove it which I never want to apply.
Still, a bit of wriggling and it comes off at least a bit nicer. Sturdy little runt though, if not, a bit pricey.

Comments about LensCoat 2 Axis Hot Shoe Bubble Level:
I use this level in conjunction with the bubbles on the tripod head. Frankly, this level is easier to read, can be either be attached to the hot show or laid flat on the sides of the camera. It is quick and accurate and is worth every penny. The only disadvantage is it is easy to lose.

This thing works great. I gave it 4 stars because the price seems high for a bubble and because it blocks my pop-up flash so I can't leave it on all the time (call me lazy). It is accurate and well-made. Fits snug in hot shoe.

I use this for leveling my Canons for composites and panoramas. Not neccesary on the 7D but use it on my older Canons. Easy to lose though....

Comments about LensCoat 2 Axis Hot Shoe Bubble Level:
Very easy to use- slides in and out of the hot shoe holder, but is snug when in place. Great for those of us with apparent inner ear deficiencies that cause our horizons to lean consistently.

Comments about LensCoat 2 Axis Hot Shoe Bubble Level:
My tripod head didn't come with any kind of level built in so I got one of these. Works well in the hot shoe but I glued mine to a flat spot on the tripod head and it works like a charm. I find it easier to look at this way.

Comments about LensCoat 2 Axis Hot Shoe Bubble Level:
I liked the LensCoat 2 axis level so much I decided to try the 3 axis to see if it worked as well as the 2 axis. I couldn't be happier with both the 2 and 3 axis levels. they are a must for my photo bag. Fits snugly on D300 and D700 but goes on and comes off easily. Both axis provide true level measurements and it makes my work much easier. I'd recommend them both.
