Elegant, yet rugged, the high output SM63LB series dynamic omnidirectional microphones are designed for professional applications where performance and appearance are critical. Their smooth, wide frequency response is tailored for optimum speech intelligibility, and includes a controlled low-frequency rolloff for reduced pickup of stand and wind noise. A built-in humbucking coil makes the microphones virtually immune to strong hum fields, such as those produced by studio lighting.

Comments about Shure SM63LB - Omni Dynamic Mic with Long Handle (Black):
I bought this mic to use in media scrums since it was recommended by others that use it. It says that it is omni directional but I think the pick up pattern isn't that big. I would buy it again but not for the use that I am using it for

Comments about Shure SM63LB - Omni Dynamic Mic with Long Handle (Black):
This mic seems to be built with the Shure quality we have come to trust. I am using it to record interviews and ambient sounds. The one thing that I didn't understand is why the LB cost more. It really ought to be the base model for this lineup. Seemed silly to me.
