The ink for this printer is of an acceptable price, but not exactly cheap. It burns through it relatively quickly, and requires all colors in order to print black and white, hence why I had to buy this ink in the first place. Cheaper buying in bulk that individual cartridges, but I would prefer a single color cartridge.
If you have the cash, spring for a kodak printer, the ink is much cheaper and lasts much longer.
