My HP multimeter reads 600 volts across the Ascor 200 WS sync socket. The SafeSync performs beautifully! Form factor is fine.

Comments about Wein SSH Safe-Sync:
I bought the RadioPopper JrX radio flash system and made an adapter cord from the receiver to the HH plug on the Speedotron 1201 power pack. Didn't work. I saw a thread on the internet where some folks claimed the Wein SafeSync would fix the problem. IT DID!! It works great and makes the two systems talk successfully.

Comments about Wein SSH Safe-Sync:
For older, AC sync strobes like the Speedotron 2403, the Wein Safe Sync will protect your pricey Pocket Wizard gear. The voltages on such strobes have been known to electrify older, tougher cameras like my Nikon F2s, and cause an electric tingle on your nose when shooting. Modern digital cameras, borne of massive electronics (not to mention amateur-only shutter lifespans) would likely fry without this protection. Same goes for wireless stuff like Pocket Wizards, the latest generation of which are massively electronics-centric. You can't go wrong with the Wein Safe Sync!

I am a professional photographer using several lumedyne units for all my on-location shoots..I recently purchased a Myco Sync Wireless digital transmitter & receiver unit. My trigger voltage was 60 volts above the Micro Sync 60 max.I could not find anything near our city. After consultation with B & H I purchased a Weins SSH safe-sync voltage regulater. So easy to use. Just plugged it in and started shooting. Its rugged construction and small profile make it one of my best purchases of the year. Tks. B&H I am very happy with this product and its paid for itself over & over.

Comments about Wein SSH Safe-Sync:
I found out I needed this little gem when I purchased a MicroSync transmitter/receiver for H prong High voltage speedotron power pack. Unfortunately on the back of the receiver it tells you not to use it in high voltage pack (go figure). I did try it since I was assured the only thing would happen is the receiver would just lock up after the first flash and not work anymore until unplugged; which is exactly what happened. Anyway I bought the unit plugged it in to the 1205 pack and plugged the MicroSync receiver into the safe sync and all is well. I expect the Wein safe sync to be a high quality and reliable unit as all Wein components that I have purchased have been.
