Comments about RPS Lighting RS-RT09/C3 2-in-1 Wireless Remote:
Used this to avoid blur in low light and macro situations. Worked most of the time, but occasionally I had problems with it not responding, but it might of been my fault by forgetting to turn it off when I turned the camera off to change lenses. Did not come with much in the way of instructions for its use, which would have been useful.

It is a pleasure now to be able to stand away from the bird or other wildlife we are trying to capture and trigger the camera from a long distance

The channel switches easily flip. There is nothing there to protect them from switching while holding or storing.

Comments about RPS Lighting RS-RT09/C3 2-in-1 Wireless Remote:
I am starting to do a lot of macro and long exposure tripod work so this device helps tremendously. When I need to use an external flash I just let the receiver hang on the side of my Canon 7D camera body.

Comments about RPS Lighting RS-RT09/C3 2-in-1 Wireless Remote:
Very easy to set up and operate. Used it on my 50D at a range of about 15 metres and works fine. Haven't yet used it in "bulb" mode and from what I understand (from the limited instruction) I would need to hold the button down for the duration of the required exposure – could be a pain for an exposure of say 5 minutes. I guess I could always tape the button down for a real long exposure.

Comments about RPS Lighting RS-RT09/C3 2-in-1 Wireless Remote:
Lightweight remote works well. Remote has great range. Receiver can be fixed to the hot shoe mount. Has three modes for operation. However, I get multiple shoots by leaving it in the regular mode and setting my Canon 30D to high speed multiple shoot mode. I use the wireless to take photos of birds. The remote allows we to watch the birds inside my home while the camera shoots outside. I will also use the wireless in my studio. It gives me greater reach than the two foot wired remote I had originally. My only cons for the remote is in the design of the buttons. I would like the firing button to be easier to feel.
