This quality cable supports color depth of 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16 bits per color component for optimum audio and visuals, and features gold-plated copper contacts for conductivity and triple shielding to ensure data transfer. Additionally, you get aluminum shielding under the flexible outer molding to lessen crosstalk or interference.

Great cable, only thing is that it seemed as if I had received a returned piece of merchandise due to the open box. Otherwise, it is a great thing to have for editing in FCP (dual display) or as a mirror display.

Works excellent, hooked up two iMac 27" together, press Command + F2 in OS X and voila, Dual screen iMacs. Same thing for connecting my Macbook pro to the iMac. Perfect length. Finally cable MFGs learned that 6 feet is too long on average. 4 feet is just right. This cable was a bit pricey, considering it costs Belkin about $2.36 for the cable, connectors, sheathing, strain-relief plastics, and solder. Oh well, such is the cable industry. 4 stars for quality and ease of use, plus the perfect length. It loses 1 star for not being a fair price. $12.95 is the most any cable of this length should cost.
