The highly-reliable Verbatim Tuff-'N'-Tiny 16GB USB Flash Drive (Black) is a thin, travel-tough drive that offers secure storage. Designed for everyday use, the drive is resistant to dust, water and static discharges, living up to the Tuff-'N'-Tiny name. It is also compatible with all USB ports.

This is the second 16GB I bought. I previously bought two of the 8GB versions and I'm very happy with all of them. I have used them to play MP3s in my car, which has a USB reader, and so far it has withstood dust and extreme heat and cold. They work well with computers too. It doesn't work when inserted with the wrong orientation, but it does no damage. All you need to do is turn it around. Since it fills up only half the USB slot, it doesn't read if not inserted properly. Again this is just a question of inserting it right. Everyone who sees it is impressed by its small size and seems to covet it. I get a real kick out of it.

It's a great little flash drive with plenty of capacity...first I formatted it for Mac.
It's also very easy to misplace...Funny, you may need to put it on a key chain 20x bigger than the drive.

I use this for carrying backups of crucial files in my wallet. Smallest one I've found.
I don't understand the folks who have trouble inserting these the right way, it's no harder than figuring out which way a USB connector goes. Insert with the contacts to the CENTER of the connector.

small plain and simple. only issue is that it's easy to put in backwards, but only yakes a second to reinsert the right way.

I admit this little flash drive does carry quite a bit of information in such a small package, but it is a pain to constantly insert and reinsert the drive to get it to make the electrical connection. Depending on whether you are using a laptop, desktop, keyboard, etc. you need to orient the drive the proper way- sometimes the logo is up, sometimes down, sometimes to the left, then right. This would be so much simpler and faster with the tradtional usb design.
