Comments about Petrol PS607 Deca Mixer Bag:
The fact that it has hops pouches rocks ! It's got plenty of accesibility , for eveything .It mates up well with the PS605 harness nicely .The flaps on either side are great for getting cables in & out , and still keeping the stuff dry, plus the top flap helps with keeping the mixer dry as well. So far so good with everything .

There's room for everything you need in a basic ENG and documentary equipment. Fits perfect to my Petrol harness and to my back. I received an awesome rain cover from Petrol and I just loved it. The most areas I go to work are humid and rainy.

I use this bag holding my 302 and 702, but if needed i can pull out the 702 and fill that space with wireless. The whole thing is velcro and is pretty customizable. lots of hidden spaces.

Comments about Petrol PS607 Deca Mixer Bag:
I use this bag to hold my mixpre and recorder for field recording of audio. It is a great bag and one that I can grow into as I upgrade equipment. The bag itself is very well constructed and offers many versatile uses. The front pocket is great for keeping your headphones tucked away when not in use. I can keep my mixer and recorder stored in the bag, and with the movable dividers you can fit your gear in it quite nicely. I love the two pockets on the front of the bag to put wireless recievers in. Also, I really like that I have easy access to the cables going to and from the mixer to the recorder. It is super easy to change something out if you have a bad cable. Overall, it is a great bag for a great price! The only thing I wish that was different is the velcro straps inside of the bag, I wish they were just a little longer. Other then that, I have no complaints.

Bought it for a SD702. It's cheaper and more flexible than the Portabrace. The only thing it's missing is some velcro to hold the clear window open.

Comments about Petrol PS607 Deca Mixer Bag:
I am very happy with this bag's layout over the Porta-brace bag designs. After many years of using Porta-brace products, I wanted to buy the Porta-brace bag because I liked their durability. However, the Petrol design with the wireless pods, extra space, versatile layout, and relative tough exterior, won me over very quickly.
The bag is perfect for a Sound Recordist with a small-medium set up of an SD302 and and a couple of wireless units & recorder. Also has a front compartment that will hold my Sennheiser 280Pro Phones. There is also plenty of room for an external 12V brick battery is you choose to power that way.
All in all, I think this is the best mixer bag on the market right now for a small-medium audio set up. Porta-brace you make good products, but Petrol is listening to what users need in a sound bag.
BTW...I can adjust this bag to fit almost any SD product (except 5 Ch Mixer?...not sure). So, the bags grows with me as I get new SD equipment.
