The Night Shadow's superior optoelectronic system delivers excellent imaging under low and no-light viewing conditions. For total darkness situations, the integral IR unit provides ample supplementary illumination.

The Night Shadow" advanced feature set is activated and controlled via an ergonomically positioned set of user-friendly digital controls. Embedded in the heart of this night vision device is ATN's exclusive SMART technology, which activates or deactivates the unit when it is brought into or out of the viewing position. This system helps to conserve battery power, and maximize the life-span of the intensifier tube.

Inside this particular permutation of the MO4 monocular there is a powerful and eye-opening intensifier tube. Not only does this 2nd generation system provide specifications that rival premium 3rd gen optics, it should be noted that the WPT tube provides black and white images (as opposed to the familiar greenish hue). When viewing in total-darkness conditions, an integral IR illuminator gives you the ability to see while remaining unseen.
