The Night Arrow 4-CGT from ATN is a 4.0x magnification night vision sighting solution that's based upon a remarkable 2nd generation CGT intensifier. Powered by a single AA battery, the Night Arrow scope produces a center-red cross hair reticle that contrasts well against the green-hued background. Thanks to high-quality all-glass Proshield-coated lenses, the Night Arrow's field of view is clear, and well detailed. The entire system has been carefully assembled to ensure an excellent level of all-weather performance, and a high-powered IR illuminator is included for sighting in total-darkness conditions.
All NVDs sold by B&H feature bright-light protection systems. However, this does not mean that bright light can/will not damage the device. Exposure to bright light compromises the longevity and performance of image intensifier tubes.

I ordered this scope for hog and varmint hunting. It gave me roughly 80yards visibility on a clear, half moon night using the included IR light. Everything was black past 100 yards. This really wasn't the range that I needed or felt I could safely shoot within not knowing what lay past 100 yards. I ended up exchanging the scope through the manufacturer (ATN) for a much higher model (MARS 4x-3P) which turned out to be awesome. The MARS 3P unit gives me visibility well past 300 yards and comfort in knowing what's behind my target. The MARS 3P costs double the Night Arrow, but is well worth the money if you need the range. ATN exchange and customer support team were great! They stand behind their products and made the upgrade easy (Including honoring B&H's pricing). Take a look at the capabilities of the various MARS 3rd generation scopes on the B&H site before purchasing a second generation scope.
