Adaptimax Nikon to 1/3" Bayonet Adapter
This Adaptimax Nikon to 1/3" Bayonet Adapter allows you to use Nikon lenses with external aperture rings on camcorders with 1/3" bayonet lens mounts. Sigma and Tamron lenses will also work, as long as they have external aperture rings. Lenses will have a magnification factor of 7x when attached to the camcorder. This is perfect for shooting telephoto and macro footage. You can now get images that were impossible with the stock lens.
The Adaptimax adapter is CNC milled from high grade aluminum, before being anodized. It is then fitted with a brass Nikon mount that is chrome plated. This durable adapter is built to last.

I bought the adapter to be able to use telephoto zoom lenses with our Sony HVR-Z7U. The adapter is easy to use and allows me to get better close up shots of wildlife.
The adapter is well built and I am looking forward to getting a longer telephoto lens.
