The Sanyo PLC-XD2600 Ultra Portable Projector employs three 0.55 LCD panels to harness 2600 of light backed with a crisp 500:1 contrast ratio to produce 1024 x 768 images which are brilliant enough to meet the challenge of even the most well-lit venues. Best of all it does it economically. The 215 watt lamp enjoys a remarkably long life of 6,000 hours in Eco Mode which just might account for its whisper-quiet (29 dB) performance.
The host of convenience features Auto Setup Function which greatly reduces setup time by detecting the input signal, checking the incline angle of the projector and employing Keystone Correction to resolve it. Guidance Function displays on-screen connection instructions when there is no input signal detected, enabling easy set-up for expert users and novices alike.
The PLC-XD2600 projector incorporates a wired LAN connection for projector control over a network as well as lamp life and maintenance notifications via email.
Lastly, compact design (13.1 x 3.4 x 9.7") and light weight (5.7 lbs) make ultra-portable PLC-XD2600 likely to log some frequent flyer miles in your carry-on.
- Long Life Lamp
- Lamp life in Eco mode has been extended to 6,000 hours, twice as long as the conventional model. A longer lamp replacement cycle means lower running costs.
- Environment Friendly Power Consumption in Standby Mode
- By redesigning electrical circuits, a standby power consumption savings of about 80 % was achieved compared to a conventional model.
- Easy Setup Function
- Auto Setup Function corrects vertical shape distortion by searching for an input signal and detecting projector incline, reducing setup time.
- Wired LAN (RJ-45) for Projector Control
- This model is equipped with Wired LAN (RJ-45) that allows you to manage and control projector via a network. It is possible to check the operating time of the lamp and manage the warning notification by email. Power ON/OFF and switching of the input signal can also be controlled.
- Light Weight and Compactness for Greater Portability
- The compact design (13.1 x 3.4 x 9.7") and light weight body (5.7 lbs) are ideal for on-the-fly presentations.
- Direct Off Function
- The projector can be turned off by unplugging the cable without pressing the power button. You can pack up and leave quickly.

I bought a number of pieces of xd2600 sanyo projectors for our classes. And they are doing well in the installed classes.
We are in progress of coming for more. Immediately the classes are completed we will be placing an order for more pieces.

I bought recently a couple of these devices. I chose them because they offer a long time of useful life of the lamp (6.000 hours), in addition for the facility of doing the cleanliness of filters without having to dismantle them of the support. I have installed them as replacement of others in a system of video 3D.
