Powergenix AA Rechargeable NiZn Batteries with 1 Hour Charger (4 Pack) are great for high-drain devices such as digital cameras and electronic games, MP3 players or camcorders. They are equal to alkaline batteries at 1.6V, which is 30% higher voltage than NiMH batteries. Yet these batteries are environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable.
The charger will recharge the batteries in 1 hour. You can recharge 2 or 4 AA or AAA NiZn batteries. Keep in mind the charger will not charge non-Nickel Zinc batteries. Other safety features include a timer to prevent over charging, reverse polarity protection, and voltage cut-off function. The LED indicator lights allow you to easily read the charging status, and depending on your use these batteries can be recharged 300 to 1000 times. For the traveler the charger is very small and compact, and will work with any voltage.

Comments about Powergenix AA Rechargeable NiZn Batteries with 1 Hour Charger (4 Pack):
I ordered those batteries to use with my Canon flash. At first I was very excited to see how fast my flash was ready to fire again but after about 10~15 flashes the batteries had no power left. The 1.6v will charge you flash quickly but only for few cycles. Not practical.

I bought 8 batteries with chargers. With a full charge they last less than 7 minutes in my flashlight. Other nimh batteries last for hours. These are junk. Save money and don't buy them. If you still want to buy I can sell mine to you.

Finally! Someone figured out that 1.2 volts doesn't cut it! These 1.6 volt batteries are fantastic. Last for months and put out 1.6 volts until dead.

Comments about Powergenix AA Rechargeable NiZn Batteries with 1 Hour Charger (4 Pack):
I bought these batteries as replacements for my aging NiMh battries. With their 1.6 volt spec, they'll give you 20% more power compared to 1.2 volts on NiMh/NiCd. I use these on my Canon 580EX-II flash and they provide the proper power the flash needs. The charger is rated to charge 2 batteries in 1 hour and it took more than 2 hours to charge 4 batteries.
