I use the HMC-150 to film a local television show and it is a great camera! It is easy to use and has a lot of useful functions for a variety of situations. The SD card is a fantastic feature. I can plug the SD card into a card reader and put it into Final Cut Pro super easy. I really can't of anything I don't like about the camera except that you can't interchange lenses, but I don't use different lenses. So, to me, it is a "non issue." The quality of the video is excellent. For prosumers and pros I recommend this camera!

It's worth buying if you can't read.

I bought this little video with my HMC150... it isn't worth buying, in my opinion... The host offers less than five 'useful' hints for using the camera... Other than that he just walks through all the functions of the camera, but not necessarily how to use them. The only caveat to this is if you can't stand reading, in which case it may be worthwhile for you...MY Pany came with a book called 'The HMC book' this is the same information but it does a better job of explaining actual use.I love the camera, dislike this DVD!

Comments about Vasst DVD: Inside the Panasonic HMC-150 by Douglas Spotted Eagle (Training):
It was informative of all the switches and buttons, menus etc . . . but I was really thinking there was going to be more experiential advice.
There wasn't any info in the dvd that the manual didn't have.
Still if you hate to read it's an easier way to learn

Comments about Vasst DVD: Inside the Panasonic HMC-150 by Douglas Spotted Eagle (Training):
The DVD is a good overview of the camera. As this is the second HMC-150 we've bought I was pretty familiar with the features discussed in the review. But it will be handy for training new camera ops. It could be improved by outlining more "creative" uses for the camera instead of just "how to".

Comments about Vasst DVD: Inside the Panasonic HMC-150 by Douglas Spotted Eagle (Training):
I Bought the HMC-150 Because I have been working with the AG-HVX200 DVCPRO HD Camcorder and fell in love with it. It is small and compact to work on the go and in small situation. It is light and easy on the wrists. The only thing I have against it is its 100% plastic design (allowing for it to be so light). When I first took it out of the box it felt cheap, but the quality of video doesn't look cheap.
