The Oben TT-300 Table Top Tripod provides a sturdy base of support for shooting from a table top or other raised surface – or set the TT-300 on the ground or floor to achieve stable low-angle shots. Constructed of aluminum for lightweight strength, the TT-300 could be ideal for macro or product photography with most DSLR cameras. With the included mini ball head, load capacity of the system is 6 lb.
Turning the twist lock enables you to raise the extension column of the TT-300. The height range of the tripod is 9.5 to 17.3". For storage or for tossing it in a backpack, the extension column retracts into the main center column, which in turn retracts through the chassis. With the legs folded, the retracted TT-300 measures a compact " long.
The tripod's mini ball head mounts most cameras, including point & shoot models, to its 1/4"-20 screw. A single lever loosens the ball so that you can smoothly adjust the tilt and pan. The ball pans 360° and a groove allows the head to tilt 90° in one direction for portrait orientation.

Comments about Oben TT-300 Table Top Tripod:
I bought this table tripod to tote around easily in my camera bag and provide a stable platform while shooting still life and night shots with my EOS-7D. It's allure when I saw the demo in B&H was the pricepoint, sleek aesthetics with rigid metal legs in a compact size.
Unfortunately, this product doesn't deliver what a tripod should: stability & durability. Particularly with the size & weight of your typical DSLR with standard zoom lens, you'll need to shoot in timer mode or with a remote trigger as the platform is very nervous, especially at full extension. While the metals used makes this tripod's build quality feel excellent, one of the stoppers that keeps the tube from extending out of the socket has already fallen off and is now missing.
1-star for the size/aesthetics
1-star for the price point
1-star for ease of use
My advice: if you're going to buy Oben, forego the 200 & 300 model and pick up the 100 as the extender poles do not provide a stable platform for DSLR's. However, I could see this being an effective tool for point & shoots.

Comments about Oben TT-300 Table Top Tripod:
I always enjoy checking out the small tripod table at B&H. On my last visit I noticed the Oben tripods. I try to keep a tripod with e but sometimes it's just not practical carrying even a small gitzo. This fits in most of my camera bags and as is would be good for a micro 4/3 size camera. I don't think I would put anything but the lightest DSLRs on it, perhaps only if I changed the head. The tripod extends so you can set it from about 10"-17". Overall it's a the tallest mini tripod I have felt comfortable using.
