The SyncMaster P2770HD 27" Widescreen LCD TV Monitor from Samsung is a flat-panel computer monitor with a wide 16:9 aspect ratio and a native 1080p Full HD resolution. The display delivers a wide 170°/160° viewing angle, a high 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a blazingly fast 5ms response time. It features a number of inputs, allowing you to connect it to a game console, cable box, Blu-ray player, or computer.
The display is housed in an attractive glossy housing with Samsung's Touch of Color rose-black gradation. This color design is reminiscent of the setting sun, adding a touch of class to your desktop. I purchased this with an atdec ATSDATDKS monitor arm. Could not be happier. No dead pixels. Had to drop the green a bit but I don't mind. It performs very well while browsing the web (change to text magicbright setting), watching movies, and with games.

I use an iMac for my everyday workflow but recently purchased an Mac Pro for music production with Pro Tools. I don't create music everyday so I like having a duel-use monitor to be able to watch TV if I'm in the mood. I was using a 720p HDTV as the monitor which worked fine but I was lacking a bit of real estate when using my Mac Pro. After doing some research, this TV Monitor seemed like a perfect solution. Now, after owning it for a couple of weeks, I find that it is! My only issue is that I wish that I had purchased this earlier :) I like it so much that I am now considering buying a second one and a mac mini once my iMac is no longer working for me.
