The Swift M10LB-MP Binocular Microscope with its integrated high quality 5 megapixel (captured) digital camera and 3" LCD screen, is an advanced compound microscope. Capture 5 megapixel still images directly onto an SD card without the need of a computer or capture 640 x 480 video clips using your computer. The LCD screen allows easy viewing of specimens and materials. Use the USB for direct connection to your PC or the RCA connection to integrate with existing classroom technology. The microscope comes complete with Motic Images Plus software, which allows one to capture, store, manipulate, measure and annotate images. Software is Windows XP, Vista, and 7 compatible. Calibration slides are included.
The microscope features 4XD plan, 10XD, 40XRD, 100XRD phase objectives along with a Siedentopf head that provides larger interpupillary range and is positioned for operator comfort. The head is inclined 45° for easy viewing and the eyepieces are 20mm, W10XD for increased field of view.
The inward-facing (reversed) nosepiece allows you to have clear access to the stage for slide manipulation. The 3W LED illumination allows for variable intensity that provides an energy-efficient, cool, white light. Given the extraordinary life of the LED bulbs, it is unlikely that the lighting source will ever need replacement.
