this is a great product. I had a deadspot in my basement that my wireless couldn't reach very well. I needed a strong connection to use VoIP for work in my office. I plugged this in the outlet, connected the device to my router, plugged the other one in the basement and to my laptop and was off to the races. The VoIP works great for my job. this product is rock solid and very easy to set up!

This is a remarkable product--it does exactly what Netgear says it will do. This adapter kit is:
• Easy to install
• Eliminates the the need to run Cat 5 cable
• Compatible with existing DSL modem/router
• Seamless hands off operation
• The software program allows you to monitor the performance, i.e., transfer speeds
I now have internet capability on a new TV in an up stairs bedroom. I highly recommend this product.
