I was looking forward to using the Socialize Pro HD camera with my mac, and although creative calls it compatible, there are no drivers for it, and every different application: Skype, google talk, facetime, ichat, etc. all display the image at different aspect ratios.
Not cropped, mind you, but squeezed or stretched.

From some of the research I did, this was one of the few affordable HD from that worked on a Mac. I can't say I'm 100% satisfied with the camera. Sure its alright for video chat, pictures, etc, but I purchase the camera to use for some video tutorials and screen casts. The graininess is disappointing, and you require a lot of light in order to get a crisp image. Besides the image quality, the size, ease of use, and price can't be beat. If you're using a mac, and you don't want to shell out the money for the iSight, this camera is the way to go.

This camera is nice, and comes with some interesting software that allows you to not only add effects when you use either their software or Skype to make video calls.
The stand is interesting and can be used either standalone (on a table), or placed on top of a laptop. My only comment is that although it allows tilt up and down, it doesn't allow you to rotate it left to right, so you have to pay a little closer attention to the positioning of the laptop, rather than swiveling the camera.
