The Aurora Multimedia DIDO LT Video Wall Processor Scaler is a high-quality video processor for creating low-cost video walls and its compact size makes it fit into tight areas like the space behind the monitors. The video wall processor can serve up to 64 monitors, giving visibly superior images and supports advanced functionality such as video format/scan rate conversions, and window effects.
It accepts digital and analog video inputs through a combination DVI/RGBHV/YPbPr connector and S-Video/Composite input connectors. It uses up to 165MHz bandwidth on the inputs and outputs allowing resolutions up to 1900 x 1200 @ 60Hz (narrow band sync) and can de-interlace 1080i to 1080p.
The image enhancing capabilities include motion adaptive de-interlacing, low-angle directional interpolation, 3:2 & 2:2 inverse pull-down, moire cancellation, color correction, adaptive flesh tone adjustments, image zoom, and shrink.
The powerful Picture-and-Picture (PAP) engine offers several modes of operation like high-resolution dual image/side-by-side (split screen) images, and translucent overlays. An internal event scheduler with real-time clock allows special effects to be scheduled locally and among DIDO LT units when connected via the RS-485 bus.
The unit includes an IR remote controller with controls for power (on/off), zoom/crop/position select/size (0 to 100%), info (current I/O timings & FW version), DVI A (selects DVI side A input), RGB A (selects RGB/YPbPr input), video A (selects video/s-video input), single (selects 1 window on the output), dual (selects 2 windows on the output), swap (swaps the sources between the windows), freeze (freezes the current window), and preset keys (P1 - P4 selects the stored preset).
The scaler comes with 12V/14.4W DC wall power supply, S-Video to Composite video adaptors, and a RS-232 control cable. New firmware releases can be easily uploaded to the DIDO with the flash utility.

- Image Enhancing Capabilities
- Motion adaptive de-interlacing - uses both field combination and frame extension de-interlacing methods to convert interlaced video, such as common analog television signals/1080i format HDTV signals, into progressive video/non-interlaced form
- Low-angle directional interpolation - employs edge detection to find the moving edges in a scene and adjusts the angle of interpolation at each pixel so that the interpolation always follows the edge instead of crossing it, thus eliminating staircasing/jagged edge artifacts
- 3:2/2:2 inverse pull-down - reconstructs the original 24 fps film frames to provide high-quality non-interlaced display on compatible display devices and eliminates redundant data for compression purposes
- Moire cancellation: used to eliminate moire patterns formed by incorrect down sampling of images
- Color correction - adjustment of the intensities of the colors (typically red, green, and blue primary colors) to render specific colors - particularly neutral colors - correctly for a pleasant display
- Adaptive flesh tone adjustments, image zoom, and shrink empower you with a variety of flexible options in image enhancement
