The Backdrop Alley Studio Stand with 1 Black Premium Muslin and 1 White Premium Muslin Kit is a complete a portable system.
The Backdrop Alley Background Studio Stand is a rugged and dependable system that can be used for both large and small groups - both in studio and on location. It is made from high-grade lightweight aluminum and will hold a 9' role of paper. The Background Studio Stand is a large stand that measures 12 x 10.5" (HW).
The stand is operated using user-friendly twist lock knobs making it a "snap" to set up and break down. The stand comes with a carrying case making it a totally portable system.
The Premium Muslin backdrop is made from quality fabric with an excellent feel and weight. Made from 100% cotton, all sides are trimmed and finished. It comes with a pole pocket on the 10' side.

I ordered this set up as I am getting busier with photos and clients have begun suggesting backdrops or plain backgrounds... This set up has so far worked well! I've used it twice, both the black and the white backdrops. I did have to buy a hand steamer to get out the major wrinkles prior to shooting! When the product arrived I did have a small issue expanding one of the stands to the highest point (not planning on using it all the time, but was concerned it was not operating properly)... however thanks to the husband it now opens fine! I like the carrying case, though I wish there was a bag for the backdrops as well! I am also happy that I can use the stands as off camera lighting stands as well!
One thing is that the backdrops themselves are a little thin.

Ive used the back drops many times since i bought them the are nice for portraits and family shots stands are a little flimsy when fully set up but they hold up ,but the drops are thing but they do work and get the job done.=]

I am just starting to do home photography and I got this backdrop and stand for a more professional look. Being a novice at this I loved how easy it was to put it up and adjust to the heights I needed. I don't know of any downfall to it as of yet, just starting to use it. So far I love it!

I bought this product originally to bring it to special events as a sort of "photobooth". The stand is great and easy to carry. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. This Muslin backdrops I could do with out however. They get wrinkles SO easily. I don't want to bring an iron with me everywhere I go! But for the price, I think all-in-all it's a great product! The backdrop is perfect for holding paper rolls as well!

This product has been great and does the job. This only thing is that the folds in the material show up in photos, which im sure its easy to steam out or something. also the side poles seem to be kind of weak and want to collapse easily unless you tighten them extremely. But it works well. Not big enough for huge families. But defiantly a good start

I am very impressed with this stand. It is easy to put together, very light weight, and sturdy. With some clamps, backdrops are easy to hang. The travel bag is fantastic as well as it has separate compartments for each piece of the stand so none of the pieces rub against each other which I assume will help the stand last longer. There is nowhere to put the backdrops in the case so you will have to have your own way of transporting/storing those. This is a great stand for photographers on the go or if you want something that is easy to set up and take down.
