Comprehensive HDMI Distribution Amplifier (1 x 2)
The Comprehensive HDMI Distribution Amplifier (1 x 2) is a compact high-performance amplifier designed for distribution of HDMI signals with HDCP copy protection. It supports HDTV from 480p to 1080p, and 480i SDTV. The unit has 2 HDMI outputs and a single input to provide transparent distribution of signals to 4 destinations. Each unit's output achieves long distance transmission of the HDMI signal up to 49.2' (15 m).
The splitter can be cascaded with 2 or more splitters to deliver HDMI and HDCP signals over greater distances from the source using high-grade HDMI cables. The amplifier is a plug-and-play device with no software needed during installation, and is desktop or remote mountable. It is quite easy to use with installation completed in seconds and no extra settings required.
HDMI certified by Silicon Image and compliant with RoHS and HDCP, the amplifier has connectors for the input and outputs as well as an AC power adaptor that provides 5 VDC power supply for operation. It supports the DDWG Standard for HDMI Monitors

I recently added a front projector system with a drop down 106" electric screen to my media room where I already had a 60" plasma on the wall. I needed a way to send the same HDMI video signal from the single output on my AVR receiver to both the plasma and the projector so I could watch the program source on whichever system I had active at the time. This distribution amp worked perfectly. There is no degradation of the signal at all. It worked perfectly with no HDMI handshake issues. Highly recommended for this application.
